Executive Assistant (Maternity Cover)

We are looking for a part-time Executive Assistant to support our CEO and Executive Team as a maternity cover.

Our ideal candidate is self-motivated and highly organised, with a talent for organisation and handling multiple responsibilities.

As the UK’s most accurate retail location data company, the Local Data Company is the only business to physically track the entire GB retail and leisure market through a combination of field and desk research. We track over 680,000 retail and leisure premises to provide accurate real-time data and insights for our diverse client base. As the LDC Group continues to grow and enter its most exciting phase yet, we continue to build our team of diverse, dynamic individuals.

Core responsibilities

• Supporting the day-to-day and strategic activities of the Executive Team in line with key business objectives
• Coordinating the CEO’s diary, liaising with key stakeholders on behalf of the CEO and setting up meetings
• Organising board-related meetings and strategy days with end-to-end ownership; circulating agendas and presentations ahead of time and following up with minutes and action lists accordingly
• Preparing presentations, reports, and summaries
• Acting as a main contact for our office building manager
• Assisting with all travel plans
• Providing support across the business to simplify and automate process flows
• Working alongside the wider Administrative Team (2 PAs)


What you will bring

• Two or more years’ experience as an EA with previous C-suite support
• Technically adept and confident with Microsoft 365 applications including Word, Excel and Power Automate
• Extensive planning and organisational skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Proactive approach
• Confidentiality

Our commitment to you

This role will provide flexibility, both in term of location as well as number of working hours a week, which will be discussed during the interview stages.

• 10 to 20 hours a week, ideally over 5 days
• Salary: £41,600 FTE
• Hybrid working (office attendance will be required for meetings)
• Leave: 25 days annual leave FTE
