Business Development Manager

who we are looking for

We are looking for a candidate who has experience in location planning and portfolio strategy with a senior network across the retail, leisure and/or FMCG sectors. An understanding of how data and insights can be applied in order to power network expansion and optimisation is ideal as this is LDC’s core area of expertise.

the role

This is a hybrid New Business/Account Management role. Our business model is such that the team retain commercial relationships post-sale and support the client in maximizing value from insights and strategic projects, supported by a client services function. The commercial team is comprised of enthusiastic, hardworking sector experts who are passionate about driving the business forward and supporting clients, whilst being fun, sociable and supportive.

Experience

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in a sales role ideally in one business (maximum two)
  • Degree level education
  • Experience working in the retail or leisure space
  • Experienced in selling licensed/renewable products
  • Experienced in selling to C-Suite/Head of Property
This role will report into the Head of Retail & Strategic Partnerships and will be based in our offices in Clerkenwell.
