  • After entering administration last year, M&Co is to close 43 stores this month. The retailer aims to have shut all 170 branches this spring. Although AK Retail Holdings has acquired the brand and intellectual property, the deal did not include M&Co’s physical stores.

  • Luxury watch brand TAG Heuer has opened a 1,400sq. ft. showroom at Birmingham’s Bullring centre, its first standalone showroom under a new design concept. The showroom aims to offer an immersive experience alongside a range of heritage watches. General manager at Bullring & Grand Central Dan Murphy said: “TAG Heuer opening a standalone store at the Bullring further elevates the destination’s luxury shopping experience, and strengthens our line-up of premium watch and jewellery retailers.”

  • Footasylum is set to open a new store at Watford’s Harlequin shopping centre in Q3 this year as part of its expansion and upsizing plans. The brand is set to announce further openings, including a Central London site, to meet the increasing demand for its menswear, kidswear and womenswear offerings. It also plans to upsize existing sites including its stores at the White Rose centre in Leeds, Lakeside shopping centre in Essex and Westfield Stratford City.
