Are we really out of the recession 'woods'?

Time will tell but the latest figures are encouraging and in our research we are starting to see some positive signs - negative values turning positive but this will not be universal across all UK towns and cities, and sectors.

We were doing some analysis today and noted that we now have data in 3,689 retail centres from Cwmbach, Aberdare to Wilberfoss, York! So keep in touch and we will update you on what signs of recovery we see on the high street and where!

Remember 10th February we are launching or second half of 2009 national shop vacancy report. Come along to the launch - http://www.bpf.org.uk/events/event/23816/retail-vacancy-seminar
