Purple Flag awards dinner - Birmingham

I was lucky enough to be a guest at the first Purple Flag awards last night which cover the night time economy of towns and include 'place shaping' activities to make a night out enjoyable, harmonious and safe. Congratulations to the winners - Bath, Birmingham, Manchester, Leicester Square and Covent Garden. Great initiative and we hope to make a contribution this year as we start to analyse the day and night time economies of the 705 towns that we 'walk'.
