The Local Data Company has now increased coverage to 250 town centres in the UK.
LDC has set itself a goal of hitting 500 town centres by the middle of 2008 and 1,000 town centres in Q1 of 2009. 250 town centres marks an important milestone in our journey, and has involved a tremendous amount of footwork to get there.
LDC is fast increasing the size of its field research team and its data team to ensure continued expansion and the same level of data accuracy our clients have come to expect.
LDC is also be adding additional datasets to its product list, including best-of-breed third party datasets, a Multiples Database and a WiFi database.
LDC's in-depth local listings are fast becoming the de facto solution for local search.

Mohammed Raja has 14 years experience in the local information space, having previously been Product Director at 192.com, Head of Commercial Products at Ask.com, Head of Marketing at UpMyStreet and Internet Product Manager at Thomson Directories. Simon Devonshire previously worked at Yell - the UK’s leading directory publisher - and has significant data, marketing and management experience and is expert in branding and market development.
