Freelance Field Researcher
Our business is growing and we are looking for talented people to join our team. Our research department has several part-time freelance contract positions available for field researcher photographers across the UK. If we do not currently have a position available in your region, we will keep your details on file and contact you when a position becomes available.
The role entails updating our database of retailers in the UK by physically visiting each premises, including photographing new businesses. You will be required to visit hundreds of premises each month, across many towns and cities.
You will be supplied with a list of towns and streets and retail premises which need updating each month. You will also be supplied with the necessary hardware and software, and receive full training in how to use it. All travel expenses will be covered.
Good map reading skills and excellent attention to detail. Self confidence and self motivation are an important asset to have as you will be working on your own most of the time. Photographic skills would be ideal as you will be capturing building images.
You will be paid - £8.00 - £10.00 per hour. Flexible working hours and approach. We provide all the training you need and arm you with a tablet PC device and camera. The role would suit someone who requires part time work to supplement another income. Work is available on weekdays only. Weekend work not permitted.

Graphic Design and Digital Marketing Coordinator
The Local Data Company is recruiting for a full time Graphic Design and Digital Marketing Coordinator to work within a busy and fast-paced Marketing team. You will play a key role in developing and delivering multi-channel online and offline campaigns. This role will be split approximately 50% Graphic Design and 50% Digital Marketing.
Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager and working with key stakeholders across the business you will be part of a young, dynamic and rapidly growing company where you can actually have an impact and make a difference.
The Graphic Design and Digital Marketing Coordinator will oversee the production of all content including social media images, infographics, video graphics, flyers, presentations, proposals, blog images, whitepapers, reports, event banners and backdrops etc. You will also work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager to develop the Digital Marketing Strategy, deliver multi-channel campaigns and create written content such as blog posts and case studies in partnership with key stakeholders across the business.
The successful candidate will have a Degree in Graphic Design or a minimum of 2 years experience in graphic design; product design and/or web design and be very familiar with Adobe CS (Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign). Also experience of designing social media content with a drive to understand what content engages with the audience, encourages action and aligns with a brand’s story. Experience of marketing automation and CRM systems is desirable.
We work at a very fast pace here so you must be very organised, have excellent attention to detail as well as be confident when communicating to multiple stakeholders. Also you must possess the ability to be a team player and to be open to constructive criticism as well as work effectively under tight time constraints and to meet deadlines. Finally you must be genuinely interested in Graphic Design and Digital Marketing.

The company is looking for a Data Intelligence Analyst to join a fast-paced and exciting work environment with a collaborative and collegial culture. The data analyst will have many opportunities for skills development, and will become an integral member of the client relationship and marketing team. Candidates will be joining a motivated and strong data analytics team.
We are looking for someone who is smart, enthusiastic and technical as well as business orientated. Passion for data and the know-how in presenting key findings with clarity and intelligence to decision makers and clients is essential. This is a significant position that will assume full responsibility for the company’s data intelligence and will be expected to understand the market and produce insightful new data analytics.
The main duties will include
Analyse market and create reports based on the LDC and third party data.
Identify and solve potential issues through efficient data quality checks and rigorous database analysis.
Communication with the clients to understand their requirements and deliver the end product along with presenting key findings.
Coordinating with the internal teams to develop new insights and reports that can create prospects or awareness of the company’s capabilities.
Experience in working with data sets and generating reports based on merging multiple data sets using reporting tools.
Comfortable working with Excel and Tableau or similar reporting analytics software. Knowledge of SQL (preferred).
Good understanding of relational databases, ER diagrams, data constraints and other relational database best practices.
Statistical or mathematical background coupled with degree in business preferred.
Experience in analysing larger volumes of data (500,000 records and above), ideally using enterprise data warehouse and reporting platforms.
Strong data manipulation, analysis and creation of reports with a previous position in a data analytics team. Ability to communicate with clients.
Ability to quickly grasp business requirements and translate them into visually effective reports, coupled with proactive attitude and attention to detail.
Can work in a team or take complete responsibility for a given task.
Eager to learn and methodical with good communication skills.
