Digital Marketing Executive Open

The Local Data Company needs a Digital Marketing enthusiast to join the team based in Hammersmith, London.

The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of how websites are structured, designed and managed, experience of using web or content management systems (CMS), and the ability to work to tight deadlines.

The role involves working closely with the marketing team, sales, developers and designers to coordinate the site content and make sure it caters to the needs of our target audiences

If you are creative and have CMS / SEO experience in web marketing, excellent writing skills, well organised and can work to deadlines, then this is a great opportunity!

Work activities:

As a Digital Marketing Executive at LDC your duties will include:

  • Maintenance and development of the company’s sites
  • Meeting with marketing and design teams to plan and develop site content, style and appearance
  • Create graphics and branding elements for web marketing activities
  • Using Hubspot & Google Analytics to analyse website usage statistics
  • Using Hubspot & Google Analytics, write reports for senior managers, clients and partnership organisations
  • Promoting information about the website to target customers and partners
  • Carrying out quality assurance checks on content
  • Managing the company’s social media profile and activity

You will have a 'hands on' role in content production, graphic design and writing.

Skills, interests and qualities:

  • Experience of Hubspot and Google Analytics
  • A strong knowledge of social media
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
  • An understanding of legal issues, such as online copyright
  • Confident presentation skills
  • The ability to build relationships with internal clients and partners

  • An understanding of online writing issues, such as house style and content structure
  • An excellent grasp of English grammar, punctuation and spelling
  • The ability to write for a target audience

Freelance Field Researcher Open

Our business is growing and we are looking for talented people to join our team. Our research department has several part-time freelance contract positions available for field researcher photographers across the UK. If we do not currently have a position available in your region, we will keep your details on file and contact you when a position becomes available.

The role entails updating our database of retailers in the UK by physically visiting each premises, including photographing new businesses. You will be required to visit hundreds of premises each month, across many towns and cities.

You will be supplied with a list of towns and streets and retail premises which need updating each month. You will also be supplied with the necessary hardware and software, and receive full training in how to use it. All travel expenses will be covered.

Based in Hammersmith, our growing company is looking for a talented and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. We currently have a position available for an experienced sales person to aggressively drive new customers to our Account Management Channel. This is a role which would suit a person currently in B2B Sales, and would be interested in progressing their career in commercial B2B sales.

Your responsibilities would include developing new relationships with potential customers. Your approach will be to understand each potential customers unique requirements, and provide solutions from the portfolio of products and services LDC provide. We give you both support and autonomy, with industry leading experts to train you in the world of commercial retail. You must have 5 years previous sales experience, plus a drive to succeed, and the confidence to handle business customers from day one.
