Freelance Field Researcher
Our business is growing and we are looking for talented people to join our team. Our research department has several part-time freelance contract positions available for field researcher photographers across the UK. If we do not currently have a position available in your region, we will keep your details on file and contact you when a position becomes available.
The role entails updating our database of retailers in the UK by physically visiting each premises, including photographing new businesses. You will be required to visit hundreds of premises each month, across many towns and cities.
You will be supplied with a list of towns and streets and retail premises which need updating each month. You will also be supplied with the necessary hardware and software, and receive full training in how to use it. All travel expenses will be covered.
Good map reading skills and excellent attention to detail. Self confidence and self motivation are an important asset to have as you will be working on your own most of the time. Photographic skills would be ideal as you will be capturing building images.
You will be paid - £8.00 - £10.00 per hour. Flexible working hours and approach. We provide all the training you need and arm you with a tablet PC device and camera. The role would suit someone who requires part time work to supplement another income. Work is available on weekdays only. Weekend work not permitted.

Senior Account Manager

This role requires a consultative sales approach, therefore you will be required to spend a lot of time with our customers, working with them to shape and guide their retail location strategy and exceed their business objectives.
We are looking for candidates who want to build on their expertise and to develop a strong network and well-regarded reputation in this space. You will need to have previous experience of working in a Relationship Manager / Business Development Manager / Account Manager role and a solid track record of exceeding targets in a B2B Technology environment.
You will need to be confident and possess the ability to communicate effectively with senior management of leading retail and leisure occupiers. You must have an excellent understanding of Retail and Leisure including market planning, location strategy, retail property and more. Also you must have a strong network of contacts in the Retail and Leisure industry and possess the drive to increase these.

Data Intelligence Analyst
Data Analyst required for the leading provider of retail and leisure insight, based in West London. The Local Data Company works within a variety of sectors and provides information so that their clients can understand the retail market, how it is changing and make high value business decisions relating to property, locations and competitor activity.
The company is looking for a Data Intelligence Analyst to join a fast-paced and exciting work environment with a collaborative and collegial culture. The data analyst will have many opportunities for skills development, and will become an integral member of the client relationship and marketing team. Candidates will be joining a motivated and strong data analytics team.
We are looking for someone who is smart, enthusiastic and technical as well as business orientated. Passion for data and the know-how in presenting key findings with clarity and intelligence to decision makers and clients is essential. This is a significant position that will assume full responsibility for the company’s data intelligence and will be expected to understand the market and produce insightful new data analytics.
The main duties will include
Analyse market and create reports based on the LDC and third party data.
Identify and solve potential issues through efficient data quality checks and rigorous database analysis.
Communication with the clients to understand their requirements and deliver the end product along with presenting key findings.
Coordinating with the internal teams to develop new insights and reports that can create prospects or awareness of the company’s capabilities.
Experience in working with data sets and generating reports based on merging multiple data sets using reporting tools.
Comfortable working with Excel and Tableau or similar reporting analytics software. Knowledge of SQL (preferred).
Good understanding of relational databases, ER diagrams, data constraints and other relational database best practices.
Statistical or mathematical background coupled with degree in business preferred.
Experience in analysing larger volumes of data (500,000 records and above), ideally using enterprise data warehouse and reporting platforms.
Strong data manipulation, analysis and creation of reports with a previous position in a data analytics team. Ability to communicate with clients.
Ability to quickly grasp business requirements and translate them into visually effective reports, coupled with proactive attitude and attention to detail.
Can work in a team or take complete responsibility for a given task.
Eager to learn and methodical with good communication skills.
