We cover over 2,000 centres across the UK, with 850 field researched (growing to 2,000 in 2012). We track town centres, shopping centres and retail parks. This database comprises 530,000+ retail locations, and over 93% of the population. We cover the UK through good old fashioned shoe leather - we walk tens of thousands of streets to ensure our data is the most accurate and up to date available. That's a lot of aches, pains and blisters - but we believe the results speak for themselves!

- By visiting every single one of the 530,000+ retailers we track we are in a unique position when it comes to achieving truly great data accuracy. We don't rely on 3rd party sources and we verify every detail about a premise from the best possible place - standing right in front of it! If a retailer so much as changes the colour of the exterior we know about it. From the big picture right down to the smallest detail - we've got it covered, nationwide.

Freshness you can rely on

- We update each centre every six months, come rain or shine. We visit each store, and monitor if it is vacant, occupied or demolished/change of use. If it is occupied, we collect over 20 fields of data, including occupier name, business classification, contact details, photo, opening times, website URL and more.

3rd Party datasets

- Additional datasets can be provided by the customer as well as by Local Data Company upon request - these include GOAD maps, population counts, spend and many more.
